Your day begins with pick-up from your central city Christchurch accommodation between 7:00am and 7:45am. Travel north through scenic coastal and rural landscapes.

Upon arrival in Kaikōura, sit down to an included lunch before boarding your whale watching vessel for a 2.5-hour cruise into deep offshore waters. These nutrient-rich waters support a remarkable diversity of marine life year-round, including sperm whales, dolphins, seals, albatross, and other seabirds.

After your cruise, enjoy some free time in Kaikōura to explore the township.

Before departing, visit a nearby fur seal colony, where New Zealand fur seals can often be seen resting and playing among the rocks.

Begin your return journey to Christchurch, arriving at approximately 6:30pm with drop-off at a central city location.
