This page sets out the Leisure Tours cancellation policy for day tours and multi-day tours.
Our standard cancellation policy is as follows:

| Between 7 and 2 days prior to date of travel | 50% refund |
| Less than 48 hours prior to date of travel | No refund |
If Leisure Tours cancels a tour or is unable to provide a tour (excluding acts of nature, terrorism or war), a full refund will be provided.
Leisure Tours reserves the right to charge an administration fee if the tour cancellation has become problematic.
Once the tour has commenced, no refunds will be given for any unused portion of the tour.
Refunds do not include the third-party credit card surcharge fee.
Once the tour has commenced, only the unused portion of the tour will be refunded should the boats not sail or the planes not fly.
If due to no whale sightings or weather conditions the boat offers a partial refund, this refund will be passed on to our customers.
If whale watch is undertaken by light aircraft and no whales are seen, no refund applies.

| Between 30 and 59 days prior to departure | Cancellation fee of 50% of the tour price |
| Less than 30 days prior to departure | No refund |
If Pounamu Tourism Group / Leisure Tours Ltd cancels the tour, a full refund will be provided.
Should you leave the tour for any reason (whether by choice or otherwise) after it has commenced, there will be no refund of the unused portion of the tour.
Refunds do not include the third-party credit card surcharge fee.
