Day 1: Depart Christchurch and travel north along the spectacular Kaikōura coastline. Upon arrival, board your whale watching vessel for a 2.5-hour cruise in search of the mighty sperm whale and diverse marine life. Day 2: This morning, experience one of New Zealand’s most extraordinary wildlife encounters — swimming with wild dusky dolphins in the pristine coastal waters off Kaikōura. Guided by experienced marine specialists, don your wetsuit and snorkel and enter the water alongside a pod of these playful creatures.

Before departing, visit a local fur seal colony before beginning the return journey to Christchurch.
