A family connection to the South Island

Three generations of Hillarys, and landscapes they know and love.

Sir Edmund Hillary learned the skills of mountaineering in New Zealand's Southern Alps and later brought his family into the mountains and along the South Island's coasts. Peter has continued that connection with his own family.

The Pinnacle is built around sharing those landscapes in a way few tours can — with Peter there to add the stories, context and personal memories behind them.
