Terms and Conditions

Leisure Tours Ltd (LTL) is part of the Pounamu Tourism Group Limited (PTG). PTG is a New Zealand owned and registered company.

All transactions are completed in New Zealand dollars.

Tour Schedule

LTL accept no responsibility for variations to any tour schedule, including arrival or departure times. Every attempt will be made to keep passengers fully informed of any alterations to the schedule.

Minimum numbers apply to some tours. If minimum numbers are not met, alternative options will be offered or a full refund given.

Passenger Responsibilities

  • All passengers must be ready for collection 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
  • The tour will not be delayed due to the late arrival of passengers.
  • We do not guarantee the availability of any seat or any specific area within a vehicle to any passenger.
  • Any mobility or health issues must be provided prior to travel.
  • Where seat belts are fitted, it is the responsibility of the passengers to use them.
  • Smoking or vaping is not allowed in any tour vehicle.
  • Consuming alcohol is not allowed in any tour vehicle.
  • Any damage caused to our vehicles may result in charges.

Our Vehicles

Our vehicles are fully licensed as Passenger Service Vehicles, hold current certificates of fitness, are fully insured and will be driven only by passenger service endorsed drivers.

Liability

Passengers travel at their own risk. Neither LTL nor any of its partners accept responsibility for any loss, damage, cost or injury to passengers or their belongings.

LTL is not liable for any loss, damage, or delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, unavoidable accidents, riots, civil commotion, strikes, lockouts, stoppages, or restraints of labour, whether partial or general.

LTL is not liable to a passenger or any other person for:

  • Any consequences arising from variations or delays to the arrival or departure times of any vehicle.
  • Any loss or damage resulting from the cancellation of, or variations to, the arrival or departure times of any vehicle.
  • Damage to a passenger's property.
  • The death of, or any injury, illness, disease, or damage to the physical or mental health of, any passenger or other person, including mental or nervous shock or distress.
